Hi there! I’m Michaela Miller, the owner of Indie hair studio. I’m a native to the Knoxville area and have been behind the chair for 5 years now ,and licensed for 6. My first year behind the chair I trained under a Redken color Artist at a Redken Elite Salon where I fell in love with my career. A hair nerd is definitely one way you could describe me; growing in my craft and constantly continuing my education is always exciting to me. I’m currently a certified Bellami Extension Artist, K-18 Stylist, and Redken Specialist. I will even be continuing my education this year with Redken on becoming an Artist and Educator for them. (I’m also a big foodie, traveler, nature lover, and mom to 2 fur babies -but that’s just extra info for giggles) Every artist has their own style and I’d say mine is an Alternative-bohemian feel. I have a passion for creating anything from a lived-in color, to a pixie, to a fully customized vivid look. I see my craft as an art form and an experience everyone from all walks of life should enjoy. Creating a customized look and experience is something I would love to share with you. Cancellation Policy
Appointment reminders are sent 72 hours before the original appointment date to give a heads up that your appointment is around the corner, but as we know, life can have unexpected turns. As long as you give a 48+ hour notice, there will Not be a cancellation fee. If the cancellation is 24 hours or less, or even a no show, Then a cancellation fee of 35% of your original service will be applied.
